Emergence offers two classes of Metro Service. Point to point and point to multipoint.

Metro Point to Point

Emergence uses a family of wireless Ethernet bridges to provide a variety of plug-and-play solutions to the growing demand for transparent, reliable, and economical high-speed network interconnectivity.

Emergence offers flexibility, reliability, and interoperability with existing networks. Our hassle-free operation makes it the ideal solution for all wide-area network extensions, remote access, and interconnects applications utilizing standard Ethernet interfaces.

Additionally, we can offer an independent wayside T1 (or E1) channel that can be used to provide simultaneous wireless connections for traditional Telco devices such as PBX and video conferencing equipment.

Eliminate bandwidth bottlenecks:
Leased circuits typically connect buildings at relatively slower speeds than the high-speed LANs that are used within buildings. The low capacity of the leased line can cause bandwidth. Bottlenecks and a serious degradation in service. Our wireless Ethernet bridges eliminate these bottlenecks by providing a high capacity link between buildings.

Variable speeds from T1 to 1 Gbps:
Our Gigabit Ethernet Bridge operates at speeds of up to 100 times faster than standard Ethernet connections. Wireless networking connectivity across the street or up to five miles away is suddenly a viable and cost-effective solution. Gone are the hassle and delay involved in procuring a data line from the phone company, the headaches of trenching, or the wait for fiber to arrive locally. And because it's wireless, it means we can provision and install it overnight.

Metro Point to Multipoint

The emergence Metro Point to Multipoint solution quickly and easily connects networks between buildings within campus environments and provides customers a variety of services to growing numbers of subscribers.

Using IP packet radio transmitters, standard Ethernet interfaces, and an easy-to-deploy design, the Tsunami Multipoint system enables high-speed network connections to multiple Ethernet switches, routers or PCs from a single location. With Tsunami Multipoint, you can now avoid the delays and costs associated with wired connections such as DSL, cable modems, and leased T1/E1 lines. Tsunami Multipoint eliminates wire/fiber installation costs and recurring monthly fees—delivering carrier-class performance at an affordable price. With Tsunami Multipoint, there are no DSL, cable, or leased-line hassles to negotiate. You no longer have to worry about man-made barriers to overcome. We can quickly deploy up to 60 Mbps capacity between locations.

Product Highlights:
Speeds from 20 Mbps to 60 Mbps. Options include Configurable upstream/downstream bandwidth to optimize desired throughput. Subscriber Unit with integrated antenna connects to indoor (inline) power & networks using a single CAT5 cable. “Over the air” software upgrades minimize subscriber unit maintenance, thereby requiring less downtime.

Pure Ethernet Connectivity:
Operates in either Ethernet bridging or IP routing modes with direct connections to PCs, Fast Ethernet switches & routers
